Campaign boards and mind maps

The longer the campaign, the more threads. Three factions, two cults, five antagonists, one traitor in the party. After session twenty, keeping it all in your head stops being enough. The board is a visual canvas where you link campaign elements into a web.

01

A web, not a list

An NPC connected to a faction in conflict with another faction that has a plot item hidden in a city where another NPC lives, who is an agent for a third party. Try writing that as bullet points.

The board shows it visually. Click an NPC, see every link. Click a faction, see members and conflicts.

02

Mind map for GMs

Some GMs plan linearly. Others plan in a web. The board supports both.

Keep a linear plan and a web of relationships on the same canvas.

03

Complex intrigue stops living in your head

Betrayal, factions, secrets. Without a board, all of it lives in your head and unsorted notes.

With a board you see it all at once: who knows what, who lies to whom.

04

Heads-up: a board is not a geographic map

Talehaven also has geographic maps (continents, cities, dungeons). That is a different feature.

A map with pins and terrain -> /maps. Visual planning of plots -> you are in the right place.
